We are super excited to welcome back, Olympian and Racine County Hall of Famer, Tom Sorensen to his home town of Racine as he will be partnering with Epic Volleyball Club to put on a three-day skills clinic.

Tom Sorensen was a member of the Racine Case High School Volleyball Team and during that time he earned numerous awards, including 2 time Racine County Player of the year and 2 time Wisconsin State Player of the year, along with a State Championship. Director Dr. Mike Engel was a teammate of Toms during that time as well.

Tom then went on to play college volleyball at D1 Pepperdine University where he had an amazing career which included being named an All-American all four years and winning an NCAA National Championship his senior season in 92’.

From there he was fortunate enough to be able to join a very elite group of athletes on the USA Men’s National team and compete in the 1996 Olympic Games as a starting right side for the Men’s Olympic team. In 97’ he earned the USA MVP award.

He was later inducted into both the Racine County and Pepperdine Sports Hall of Fame.
